The Airpura I600 is the best Dust removal air purifier on the market. It features a 3" thick HEPA filter (100sq. ft -10 pleats per inch HEPA material) and the highest CFM air moving capability of any residential air cleaner on the market. Bottom line, this machine doesn't have a carbon filter to slow the air moving capability and it collects a ton of dust! You can upgrade this unit with a military cloth carbon filter for $99 more if you also want some odor and chemical abatement capabilities without lowering the CFM capabilities that much. You also get the benefits of an MCS air purifier due to a host of design innovations and features. (Air not drawn over motor, no plastic gaskets, etc). The HEPA and Carbon filters will last over 5 years run 24/7. Simply vacuum or replace the pre-filter every 4 months for best results.
